What’s In Your Makeup?

Ok, so I’ve had quite a few experiences with different types of makeup whether its mineral based, HD, oil-free, with/without primer,  liquid foundation, power (loose and compact)…and they usually cost and arm and a leg!  I’ve looked at the ingredients before, but didn’t pay any mind, until now!  Have you looked on the back of your particular brand…what does your label say?  This is what’s in mine:

Aqua (Water), Cyclopentasiloxane, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Neopentyl Glycol Diethylhexanoate, Talc, Mica, Phenyl Trimethicone, Sodium Cholride, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Lauroyl, Lysine, Glyceryl Caprylate, Methlpropanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Myristoyl Glutamate, Chorphenesin, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Fagus Sylvatica Bud Extract, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Propylene Carbonate, Aluminum Hydroxide, Biosaccharide gum-1, Parfum (Fragrance), Butylene Glycol, Benzyl Alcohol, Pentylene Glycol, Benzoic Acid.

The only ingredients I know for sure are the Aqua and Talc….seriously, I think thats about it!  Im so happy I stumbled across this jewel of information on a lightweight foundation and powder!  I made an instructional video for you and I can’t tell you how happy I am with the end product!  This will be my staple 🙂 Next on the list…DIY blush and lip gloss! Remember what you place on your skin, your body absorbs…
