Stop and smell the roses!
I just received my 1 lb bag of dried roses and Im just dying to infuse them...so I did! The scent of roses is wonderfully relaxing and helps to calm my nerves a bit when things get the best of me. Although roses are typically thought of as a symbol of love and beauty...it's proven to be much more than that!
It has been renowned as having sensual and even aphrodisiac properties because of it's ability to address sexual difficulties, particularly frigidity and impotence. Rose oil activates blood circulation and soothes tension/stress by releasing dopamine. If you think thats great, rose oil also helps to improve digestion, tones and cleanses the uterus, tones the heart and capillaries, removes toxins from the blood, and combats depression amongst other things.
For the sake of this article, it's also an excellent skincare oil, and perfect for dry, sensitive, mature/aging skin. Due to its antiseptic, astringent, and anti-inflammatory properties, it assists in wound healing, stops bleeding and is used to treat eczema, and wrinkles.
