Helps to support digestion and improves appetite by stimulating the secretion of bile. Also helps to detoxify and normalize metabolic function. Burdock is known as a "blood purifier" which can help to calm skin conditions as well as gout and rheumatoid arthritis. 

The arctigenin, extracted from the seed (fruit) of the burdock plant is shown to provide neuroprotective activity, which could be useful as a potential therapeutic agent for Parkinson's disease. Studies also show, the fruit extract regenerates dermal structures thus, providing an effective treatment option for mature/aging skin.

Decoction, Tincture or as Food



Diffusive (seed) 

Adult Dosage

Decoction: 1 teaspoon root simmered in water for 15 minutes, three times a day.

Tincture: 2 - 4 mL of a 1:5 in 40%, three times a day.
